 Green Living Green Planet's 3rd Annual Golf Tournament was a great success and it was because of YOU!

Big thanks to GLGP Golf Tournament Co-Chair Al Cote, Board Member John Lefrancois, 

President Frank Ridondo, GLGP Executive Director Tania Garcia, volunteers: Jennifer Walker, John Reilly, Kelli Walker, Jonathan Walker, Autumn, Ed Geary, Linda Coldwell, Jan Lucy, and Marilyn Cote,

and Port Charlotte Golf Club for pitching in and giving the golfers a great tournament.  

A special thank you went out to Don Gasgarth Charlotte County Ford for offering golfers a prize with a hole in one. Unfortunately, none of the golfers were able to knock it in the hole with one shot. There were also plenty of hole sponsors; Deep Creek Elks BPOE NO 2763, Jack & Jan Lucey, Al & Marilyn Cote, Jesus’s Tires, Health Source, K’s Family Pizzeria & Restaurant, and Back2Nature.

In addition, there were prizes courtesy of local businesses; Visani, Village Fish Market & Restaurant, King Fisher Fleet, All-Star Sports Grille, Nail Tech, Beneath the Sea, Salty Paws, Tires Plus, Scotty’s Brew House, Rossini Restaurant, Avon, and Bella Balsamic. Golfers prizes included foursomes to the many of the best golf courses in the area such as; Sunnybreeze Golf Course, Oyster Creek Golf Club, Riverwood Golf Club, Twin Isles Country Club, Kingsway Country Club, St. Andrews South Golf Club, and Heron Creek Golf Club.

GLGP raises funds to help educate the public, and increase awareness about sustainable healthier lifestyle choices that promote overall wellness for people, other species, and the planet.
